A3ES with CIPES is organising a new seminar for October 2018 (7 to 9), by invitation, dedicated to the analysis of “Doctoral Studies: recent developments, challenges and ways forward”.
A Resolution of the Administration Council, already sent to publication in DR, has established the period from February 1 to April 30 2012 for the submission of self-assessment reports concerning degree programmes in operation to be assessed in the current year.
The Agency informs HEIs that the guidelines for self-assessment of degree programmes in operation and for application for auditing internal quality assurance systems are already available.
The A3ES prepared a draft planning for the definition of the year of assessment/accreditation of each degree programme in operation, which is opening to consultation of HEIs, through CRUP, CCISP and APESP.
The A3ES will initiate during the academic year 2011/2012 an experimental exercise for auditing internal quality assurance systems of Higher Education Institutions.
The A3ES received 222 applications from students interested in participating in the work of the External Evaluation Panels (CAE) which will be set up to conduct the assessment and accreditation of degree programmes in operation.
A new resolution of the Administration Council of A3ES, setting the value of the fee to be charged for previous accreditation of new degree programmes and assessment / accreditation of degree programmes in operation, has just been published in DR.
In it's 22nd February 2010 meeting, the Administration Council of A3ES decided that requests of requests for previous accreditation of new study cycles to operate in accordance with Portuguese goverment agreements are not subject to submission deadlines.
