Criteria for the qualification of teaching staff

Several institutions of higher education and also some members of the External Review Committees have frequently raised issues related to the definition of minimum qualifying criteria of the faculty for the accreditation of degree programmes, as a result of difficulties in the overall interpretation of the applicable set of rules. The Administration Council, in response to such requests, approved the document "Qualification Criteria of Academic Staff for the Accreditation of Degree Programmes", which was discussed with the higher education coordinating bodies and is publicly available in the Agency’s Webpage.

The document was also presented and discussed in the training sessions for experts that took place in Curia, on the 8th and 15th of September.
