Bilateral cooperation with agencies set up in Portuguese-speaking African countries (PALOP) with converging objectives (Cape Verde and Angola) and cooperation with agencies in the countries of the Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries (CPLP) are important aspects of A3ES’ international cooperation.See here for more information on the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries.

A3ES is registered with the European Quality Assurance Register (EQAR) and has renewed its registration until April 2029. EQAR is the official organisation where higher education quality assurance agencies that follow European standards and guidelines (ESG) are registered.
