Organisational structure

As the Agency assumes the legal nature of a private law foundation, it is only natural that its organic structure corresponds to what is usual in this kind of legal institutions.

The legal diploma that creates the Agency is Decree-Law no. 369/2007, of 5 November. 

The organic chart of the Agency includes not only the fundamental A3ES’s organic structure, but also the organisational structure of its own operational services.

The main bodies of the Agency are the Board of Trustees, the Management Board, the Audit Committee, the Advisory Council and the Appeals Council.
